Dimol’s Music Video News

In 2007 Avril Lavigne’s Girlfriend video was number 2 in the most watched You Tube videos of all time.  It was uploaded by RCA Records (who also managed Kelly Clarkson and Kings of Leon) early in 2007 and amassed over 50 million views in 5 months. Probably many more since. Sadly I can’t even link to the version on YouTube because I am in the UK and all the copyright rules are screwing everything up now. So I’ve embedded some (Spanish?) subtitled version from them as a nostalgic reminder of that great Avril video to cheer you up.

Shot in just one day at Kings Heath Boxing Club in Northampton, UK in November 2008. Produced by Robert Fairhurst and directed by David Mahmoudie.

It is a dreamy thought-provoking video, so typical of Coldplay and the cinematography is fantastic.
