Tupac was an American rapper who died in 1996 from the Bronx, New York. His songs were primarily about growing up surrounded by the violance of ghettoes and racism in society. The song How Do U Want It was on his album All Eyez on Me and also features K-Ci and JoJo. It gave him a second number one hit following the success of California Love. In the United Kingdom it managed 17th spot in the charts, which for a country more in to Pop and Rock, was breakthrough. If you are paying attention you would hear it samples Quincy Jones' Body Heat from 1974.

There were actually three videos filmed for this song. One was just a concert performance (see image of Shakur above). The other two were both directed in 1996 by Ron Hightower (an ex-porn actor) and prodcuded by Tracy D Robinson. The other two were essentially the same, except that one was edited for mainstream television and the one I prefer, the sexually explicit one was the infamous one that has been removed from YouTube a number of times. In it, there are loads of woman, black and white in the nude, including real porn stars in the x-rated version like Nina Hartley, Heather Hunter and Angel Kelly. Watching it, you would see sex in a jacuzzi, nake girls cage dancing and pole dancing, people dressed odly in renaissance-era costumes (although most clothing is removed quickly in the uncut version). Apparently Nina Hartley commented in her forums that she partied with Tupac after filming the video and he 'had what it took to be a porn stud, no problem'.
